Production and tasting notes

La Reserve Brut Royale

100% Chenin blanc, this grape varietal is able to showcase itself in Indian climatic conditions, and the GZV team has been successful in bringing out the best from it. This sparkling wine is rested for 30 months on lees (dead yeast), which add on the autolytic characteristics (bread-dough, roasted almonds, etc.) to the wine, on a similar note like Champagne & Cava.

The wine is lemon gold in colour with vibrant notes of green apple, a hint of citrus notes on the nose and on the palate, with green apple, pears and dry finish.

Insignia 2016

100% Shiraz made from only grapes sourced from selected plots and the selective picking of grapes from each bunch. Fermented in old casks and aged for 24 months in 100% French new oak cask and further, for a year in the bottle prior to release in the market.

The red wine has a potential for ageing and recommend decanting, prior service. The wine is medium ruby in colour, with oak, sweet and hot spice notes on the nose and on the palate, with cinnamon, black pepper and cedar notes.

Vendange Tardive

100% late harvest Viognier grapes that are bunch pressed. The wine is medium gold in colour, with ripe tropical fruit and floral notes on the nose. On the palate this dessert wine has melon, banana and pineapple notes.
