Another craft gin from Goa: Jin JiJi

Jin JiJi: another craft gin from Goa

High Road Spirits, a US-based company, and Ansh Khanna, founder of Peak Spirits, have collaborated to launch a new copper-pot distilled craft gin from Goa.

Jin JiJi is an ‘India dry gin’ (43% ABV) with the unique flavours of Himalayan juniper, the fragrant tulsi leaf and chamomile, coriander seed, black tea, angelica and orris root, and cashew nut – each botanical with a story to tell.

The name JiJi is derived from the Hindi word Jijivisha, a word best used to describe a lust for life.

Jin JiJi's Darjeeling (43% ABV) India dry gin comes from the unique Jungpana estate using only FTGF-OP1 grade tea, and includes Indian lemon peel, ginger, clove and cardamom.

According to Ansh, the collaboration with Master Sommelier Ken Fredrickson led to gin as their first Indian offering in the US, since it would create something that expresses what is indigenous and unique to this country. (www.highroadspirits.com).
