Cerana Meads opens taproom in Nashik

Cerana Meads opens taproom in Nashik Co-founders Ashwini Deore (L) and Yoginee Budhkar are promoting mead culture in the country.

Cerana Meads, one of the country’s leading mead brands, has launched its taproom in a lake-side property in Nashik (Maharashtra), which offers breathtaking, 360-degree views of the majestic Sahyadri mountains.

The taproom provides the perfect setting for indulging in a glass of mead, the oldest alcohol beverage known to mankind. The Cerana taproom features a variety of meads on tap, each bursting with flavour and character, with a menu curated specifically to pair with the company’s meads.

Mead flavours include pomegranate-vanilla, chenin blanc, blue pea-lavender, jamun, pinot noir pyment, and yule spice meads. In the coming months Cerana will launch flavours exclusively available at the taproom.

Guests at Cerana Taproom will have the unique opportunity to stay in the Cerenity Castle adjacent to the taproom, a medieval castle-themed villa that can host overnight stays for its guests. It is an ideal destination for weekend getaways with friends and family.

This experience aims to showcase Cerana’s true-to-craft meads made with premium quality ingredients for a superior experience. The castle is aptly named Cerenity, a play on the words Serene and Cerana!

Ashwini Deore (Ph.D.), also a Co-founder of Cerana Meads adds “The taproom is not just about serving drinks; it’s about offering an experience that combines the beauty of nature with the rich flavours of mead.”
