One thing you’d like to change about the Indian market?
As a staunch believer in the Indian botanicals and raw materials available in the country I believe Indian Alcobev industry should focus on world class quality products which by God’s grace is slowly taking shape.
Who do you think sets drinking trends in India?
The economic upturn in the country is one of the major force determining the drinking trend in the country wherein social platforms also play a major role.
What’s the next big thing for India?
I don’t think there will be an exclusive major thing happening for a particular category as such, but in general craft beverages will be the thing as the Indian consumer is coming of age and is quite versatile.
What’s the best motivation for your team?
For our team the various unique blends launched over the years and the day to day experiments carried out is fun and motivation by itself to give a completely different dimension in the making of alcoholic beverages there by giving them excuse to get a bit tipsy.
Which is your favourite liquor brand ad campaign?
Creation of the Cabo anthem was one of my most favourite add campaign
Which is your favourite Bar in India and why?
Favourite bar would be the one with good vibe good food good music and awesome drinks. And the bar which covers all of the above for me would be O Pedro Mumbai.
Which of your competitors gives you sleepless nights?
I am a competition to myself just the thought of breaking the next barrier has given me sleepless nights.
If you were alone on a desert island, which drink would you want with you?
Definitely Cabo with tender coconut water
