Hartford Eastern Holdings LLC has introduced its bottled-in-Goa Highbury Classic whiskey, which has a very gentle wisp of peat and with a tinge of spice. Bottled at 42.8% ABV, it has grain, caramel biscuits, hints of berries and a touch of peat on the nose.

On the palate, raisins and stone fruits come with hints of cinnamon spice and a dash of vanilla, rounded off with Oakwood. The finish is that of honey, smoke and pleasant lingering pepper.

Highbury Classic whiskey (750-ml) is now available in Karnataka (Rs 1,850), Goa (Rs 600), Telangana (Rs 1,200) and Kolkata (Rs 980). The packaging comes in 1-litre (Telangana only, at Rs 1,550), 375-ml, 180-ml and 60-ml bottles.
