John Distilleries Ltd., which has investments by Sazerac of the US, recently announced the launch of three whiskies in the India market. All three offerings come in 750-ml bottles. Prices shown are for Karnataka.

Buffalo Trace is Sazerac’s signature brand, a tribute to the mighty buffalo and the rugged, independent spirit of the American pioneers that followed them westwards. Aged in new, charred white oak barrels, the award-winning Buffalo Trace is pleasantly sweet with notes of brown sugar and spice.

Benchmark (80% proof) is a Kentucky straight Bourbon whiskey with a robust and sturdy palate and a calming finish. It is yet another label that honours the storied history of the New Orleans distillery and the land it sits on.

Sazerac Rye symbolizes the tradition and history of New Orleans, as it was in the Sazerac Coffee House that America’s first branded cocktail was born. It has subtle notes of candied spices and citrus with a smooth finish.
