Two-day Brews&Spirits Expo in Bengaluru
(6 & 7 July 2022) seeks to re-energise alcobev sector with ideas, solutions and industry networking
The alcobev industry is adapting to new trends and innovations to recover the growth trajectory after the massive global disruptions caused by the Covid-19 pandemic.
Some of the key trends that have evolved are the preference for ready-to-drink (RTD) beverages, e-commerce in retail, and the increasingly local sourcing of supplies for beverage production.
It is now critical for the alcobev sector in India to take advantage of the most up-to-date technology (materials, equipment and processes) to increase output and capitalise on growth prospects. New and innovative methods of production are also driving efficiency and sustainability.
Furthermore, data analytics, digitisation and automation are assisting the alcohol and beverage industry with demand forecasting, supply chain optimisation, sales tracking, brand advocacy, pricing strategy, reducing costs, cutting product counterfeiting, and suggesting ways to enhance consumer experience.
Trade fare
In such exciting times, the upcoming Brews&Spirits Expo aims to deliver value to the alcobev ecosystem and provide an industry-defining platform for knowledge sharing, fostering partnerships within the industry, enhancing brand awareness, and converting potential into revenue.
The two-day expo will bring together technology providers, equipment and component manufacturers; suppliers of raw materials and consumables; brewers, winemakers and distillers; distributors and retailers of alcobev; food and beverage experts from the hotel, restaurant and entertainment sector; as well as connoisseurs of spirits and wine.
Brews&Spirits Expo will give you two power-packed days at the centre of the alcobev market, where you can feel the industry’s heartbeat in an energised environment. Top-class conferences, a cocktail competition, technical workshops and masterclasses will address the latest industry challenges.
It will also draw relevant manufacturers, suppliers and buyers from across the industry spectrum covering beer, wines and spirits sectors of the alcobev industry.
Wide support
The event is supported by the Confederation of Indian Alcoholic Beverage Companies (CIABC), Craft Brewers Association of India (CBAI), Indian Flair Bartenders Association (IFBA), and the Wine & Spirits Club of India (WSCI).
In addition, the Karnataka Brewers & Distillers Association (KBDA), UP Distiller’s Association, Apex Wine Club India, the National Restaurant Association of India (NRAI) and the Grape Growers Federation of India have also unilaterally extended their support for the event.
As in the previous editions, Brews & Spirits is being guided by an advisory committee consisting of prominent names and stalwarts representing the leading brands of the alcobev industry. The committee convened and deliberated on trending and futuristic topics and identifying star speakers/subject matter experts for the keynotes and panel discussions.
The key factors driving growth of the alcoholic beverage industry in India are the rising population of the youth segment and working women, rising incomes and purchasing power, greater brand consciousness, changing consumer preferences, growing urbanisation and increase in number of upper-middle class.
