Chef Prateek Bakhtiani and sommelier Gargi Kothari presented an exclusive celebration on World Chocolate Day at a Mumbai club recently. Guests explored the art of pairing chocolate and wine through a curated tasting experience.
Prateek showcased five exceptional chocolates crafted by The Ether Atelier, highlighting flavours from Madagascar, Peru, Venezuela and Japan.
Each chocolate was like a journey through distinct cacao origins and meticulous craftsmanship. Complementing these chocolates, Gargi selected wines from the cellars of Sonarys in Mumbai to enhance and elevate the tasting experience, ensuring a harmonious union of flavours.
“The chocolates took the tasters on a global promenade though cacao. Having gotten a sneak peek into the wine, I promise the wine will no longer hold back our guests either,” said Prateek.
