Nao Spirits, makers of Greater Than and Hapusa, recently launched their second limited release gin, No Sleep. In stores already in Goa (Rs 1,000), Karnataka (Rs 2,400) and Maharashtra (Rs 1,850), this coffee-infused gin is the first of its kind in the market.

No Sleep is a collaborative product between Nao Spirits and the pioneers of cold brew coffee in India, Sleepy Owl Coffee. The distillers chose not to use any sugar, coffee extracts or artificial flavour. Instead the cold brew using Arabica coffee from Chikmagalur (Karnataka) is infuses in the gin distillate and bottled (750 ml) at 42.8% ABV.

Tasting notes? Red cherries at first, followed by salted caramel on the palate, and a delicately spiced finish with hints of pink peppercorn. No Sleep gin is best enjoyed with tonic water and an orange wedge. It is also ideal for Negroni or the Espresso Martini, among others.
