Manifest Hospitality recently threw open its newest culinary project, Mehico. Located at the heart of the Park Street area, Mehico is the City of Joy’s newest and truest Mexican venue, promising authenticity and innovation in their gastronomy, cocktails and ambience.
Built to mimic an Oaxacan cantina, the interiors are colourful and punchy, complete with a party-ready atmosphere enveloped in high ceilings, open spaces and arched corridors.
Taking after the lively interiors, Mehico’s menu is bold and full of flavour – offering up a plethora of small plates, botanas, and entrees to satisfy everyone. Led by Chef Arun Karara, Mehico’s food is centred around sparking joy and showcasing the best that Mexico has to offer.
Mehico’s beverage selection has also been curated in line with Mexican flavours and moods, complemented by a cutting-edge bar program, including new-age techniques and centrifuge-powered clarification, paired with an award-winning mixology team.
Mehico’s bar programme is focused on curating one of the best experiences in the country, blending techniques like centrifuge-powered clarification, fermentation, in-house carbonation, fat washing, nitro-foam, etc.
Delving into their technique-forward beverage programme, Manoj Singh Rawat, Head Mixologist said, “Our blending of classic flavours with new-age methodology will showcase the skilled mixology and complex flavours, through the lens of Mexico.”

Manifest Hospitality and its ventures are inspired by the global travels of Saket and Nivedita Agarwal. Their observation of global cuisines in India often having an indigenous twist fueled their ambition to introduce authentic global culinary encounters.
Their first venture, Sorano (also in Kolkata), has been serving genuine Italian food since 2022, and is currently ranked #26 by 30BestBarsIndia 2022. The team at Manifest has two decades of experience behind them, leading efforts at establishments such as Aqua Java and Casa Toscana.
