The latest addition to the bevvy of Indian craft gins is Sector, by Living Root Distilling Co. Living Root distils the base gin and the citrus distillate separately and then blends them together to create a perfectly balanced gin.

The London dry gin has juniper from Italy, Indian coriander, Valencia oranges and grapefruit from Turkey, and a soft mouth feel from turmeric and Orris. The cubeb berries, Cochin ginger, and lemon balm give a well-rounded finish.

Sector makes for a well-balanced gin that goes well as a simple G&T or with just about any cocktail. It is currently available in Goa at Rs 850/- and in Mumbai at Rs 1,650 (750-ml bottle at 42.8% ABC).
