Spaceman Spirits Lab, the maker of premium Indian craft gin Sams?ra, has forayed into the craft rum segment with the launch of its latest offering, S?tär?, in two premium rum variants.

S?tär? barrel-aged white rum is a blend of column- and pot-distilled Indian rums that are aged in virgin American oak barrels and then charcoal-filtered to achieve a clear spirit.

S?tär? botanical spiced rum is also a blend of column- and pot-distilled Indian rums, aged for a slightly longer duration and then infused with seven handpicked botanicals to create a spiced rum with a distinctively Indian personality. These botanicals include cinnamon, ginger, orange, hibiscus, vanilla, coffee and cacao beans.

The S?tär? rums are available in Goa, with plans to launch in other prominent markets in the country. In Goa, S?tär? barrel-aged white rum is available at ?1,200 and S?tär? botanical spiced rum at ?1,350 (750-ml bottles at 42.8% ABV).
