Goa-based Spaceman Spirits Lab, who launched Samsara gin 2 years ago, is ready to deliver its Secret Orchard series of gins in a fun and refreshing way. Each batch of Secret Orchard is infused with real fruits and hand-crafted to capture the spirit of exploration.

Available in three flavours – Grapefruit & Rose, Lemon & Elderflower and Coffee & Hazelnut – these are unique sipping gins designed to be best enjoyed on the rocks, or with a dash of light tonic water/ sparkling water.

Each bottle of the Secret Orchard series is distilled using 11 signature botanicals: juniper berries, hemp seeds, vetiver grass, rose petals, cardamom, cubeb berries, coriander, angelica, orris, cassia and secret citrus. They are further infused with grapefruit, fresh lemon, rosemary, elderflower, cocoa beans, coffee and hazelnuts.

Grapefruit & Rose has zesty grapefruit, hint of cardamom and orange atop crisp juniper on the nose. The mid-palate is sweet and tart grapefruit with hints of citrus oil. The finish is moderately long-lasting, with sweet citrus and peppery rose.

Lemon & Elderflower is predominantly led by gentle lemon notes with an enchanting floral aroma. On the palate, it’s a perfect union of lemon, elderflower and juniper. The finish is silky and moderately long, with lingering notes of citrus oil, cardamom and elderflower.

Coffee & Hazelnut has a nostalgic aroma of toasted hazelnuts and fresh coffee with underlying notes of shaved chocolate and vanilla beans. On the palate, it is smooth and rich, with dominant notes of fresh coffee and toasted nuts. The finish is long-lastingm with a lingering nutty aroma and mellow notes of vanilla.

The Secret Orchard series (bottled in 750 ml at 37% ABV) will be available from September 2022. It will be priced at Rs 2,000 in Goa, Rs 3,200 in Maharashtra, Rs 3,400 in Karnataka and Rs 2,200 in Delhi. More flavours will be added to the series every season!
