A ‘crowler’ is a can version of a growler. Bengaluru-based Geist Brewing has followed up on its successful growler concept to let beer drinkers take the micro-brewery home! In refrigeration, the shelf-life of a crowler is 6 months.

The Geist crowlers (500 ml) are filled and packaged at its production brewery and transported in its refrigerated trucks to the excise depots. When retailers place orders, the trucks make the deliveries to the stores. Geist retains control over the cold-chain aspect because it is critical to the freshness of the beer and customer experience.

The same fresh and unpasteurised craft beer that is the hallmark of Geist Brewing is also available in convenient four-pack format for those who want multiple crowlers.

Styles currently available are Geist Witty Wit (Belgian-style witbier) Rs. 225, Geist Uncle Dunkel (Bavarian-style dark wheat beer) Rs. 225, Geist Kamacitra (American IPA) Rs. 249, Geist James Blond (Belgian-style strong blond ale) Rs. 225 and Geist Silly Pint (India Pale Lager) Rs. 225.
