Inspired by athletes during his career in sports management, Mohit Bhagchandani, co-founder of Mumbai-based 7Ink Brews, has launched a range of exciting new artisanal beer and (non-alcoholic) chocolates. The first phase will see the products available in Mumbai, Pune, Goa and Bengaluru.

Built around the attributes of Mahendra Singh Dhoni and his signature “helicopter shot”, Copter7 is a rare instance of a brand inspired by a champion personality.

Copter7 Strong (6.8% ABV) is brewed along the lines of the German Märzen lager with imported Munich, Vienna and Pilsner malts. It boasts of a caramel sweetness making this a smooth, flavourful drink. The hop flavour has been kept to a minimal, giving it a mildly spicy, herbal tinge.

Copter7 Premium lager (4.8% ABV) is brewed majorly with 2-row Pilsner malt for a smooth clean flavour. This maize-based drink is so low in bitterness; and the fruitiness stands out distinctly.

For the line of artisanal chocolates, 7Ink Brews has teamed up with well-known chocolatier and chef, David Belo, of Mysuru-based craft chocolate brand, Naviluna. Made with organically certified Indian cacao beans exclusively, the chocolates come in Mosambi Zest, Strawberry & Coffee, Mint and Mulberry flavours.
