Goa discovers ‘secret village

Portugese for ‘Secret Village’, Segredo Aldeia rum draws from Goa’s rich and diverse history from the banks of the Mandovi River to recreate a spirit from an era gone by.

Segredo Aldeia White rum is clear in appreance, with a yellow tint. It has vanilla, sweet wood and toffee on the nose; sweet wood, herbs, peaches and cream on the palate; with lingering notes of caramel and vanilla. It sells for Rs. 1,500 (for 750 ml) in Goa.

Segredo Aldeia Café rum is deep amber in appearance. It has coffee, toffee and vanilla, with undertones of tobacco and leather. It is coffee-forward with notes of sweet wood and a dark chocolate finish. It is available in Goa for Rs. 1,650.
