When music, chakra energies awaken senses

Santanu Chanda, the award-winning mixologist and Group Beverage Manager at PVR Inox’s Home, introduces Harmony to guests in Delhi.

Home, PVR Inox’s luxury lounge and a social and live entertainment club at a shopping mall in Delhi, recently launched its latest beverage menu, titled ‘Harmony’, a deeply evocative experience where music meets energy and indulgence meets intention.

Curated under the creative direction of Santanu Chanda, the award-winning mixologist and Group Beverage Manager, Harmony is not just a cocktail list, it is a sensory journey that draws from 12 distinct musical eras, transforming each drink into a liquid note, each glass into a story.

Inspired by the timeless power of sound and its ability to stir emotion and memory, Harmony reimagines musical nostalgia with local ingredients that sing the song of our land.

From the smoky brass of swing to the electric pulse of funk, from the velvet tones of soul to the hypnotic beats of electronica, each cocktail is composed with heart and élan, a French word that evokes spirit, flair and passion. Some of the newly launched cocktails are:

  • ‘Not A Rocket Science’ focuses on clarity, balance and formal structure of Indian classical music. This is Makrut lime leaf-macerated rum with Timur berry cordial and citrus
  • ‘Rise Of Opera’ addresses psychedelic rock which artists like The Beatles and Pink Floyd brought in terms of experimental sounds and mind. This is vodka and banana with caramel and rocket leaf.
  • ‘Mamma Mia!’ At the rise of American bars, romantic music was emotional, expressive and expansive. This is vodka and amla brine with cherry liqueur and acids.
  • ‘Elvis Presley Who?’ Rock n roll brought youthful energy and rebellion, meanwhile tiki craze began with bartenders crafting exotic cocktails. This is Tequila and tangerine with Worcestershire sauce, tabasco, lime, tomato foam and parsley.
  • ‘Seat In Florence’ is about grunge music with bands like Nirvana and Pearl Jam, characterized by raw and emotional intensity. This is strawberry gelato-washed gin with Yuzu and mint soda.

The menu also introduces a chakra-inspired mocktail collection, a thoughtful curation of seven non-alcoholic creations, each aligned with an energy center of the human body. These drinks are reflections of mindfulness, balance and self-discovery.

Santanu says: “Each cocktail – even our chakra-inspired mocktails – is crafted not just to taste good but to feel like a memory, to sound like a feeling. It’s a convergence of energy, history and hospitality, designed to invite our guests to slow down, reflect, and experience something deeper in every sip.”

Home, a members-only club, serves modern Indian, Japanese and European cuisines. The expert team led by Santanu continuously works on the bartending programme to reflect the evolving palate of patrons and offers new flavours as per changing seasons.
