Two of India’s most celebrated microbreweries – Fort City Brewing (Delhi) and Byg Brewski Brewing (Bengaluru) – teamed up recently to launch a limited-edition cold IPA, now pouring in both cities.
It marks the first cross-city beer collaboration to emerge from the 30 Best Bars India Awards platform in recent years.
Crafted with New Zealand hops (Motueka and Galaxy) and malt sourced from Castle Malting (Belgium), the beer is fermented with E30 yeast (supplied by Fermentis) to achieve high attenuation and a clean, dry finish.
At 6.5% ABV and 40 IBU, the Cold IPA blends the crispness of a lager with the hop-forward character of a modern IPA.
Available exclusively on tap, the beer reflects the shared focus of both breweries on innovation and consumer experience.
Byg Brewski operates large-format brewpubs across Bengaluru and serves over 30,000 litres of craft beer each month, with IPAs among the most popular styles.
Fort City Brewing continues to set benchmarks in New Delhi’s beer scene through its contemporary styles and technical precision.
