Monin sets roots in Bengaluru

Monin sets roots in Bengaluru (L-R) Manish Nautiyal, National Sales Head, Germain Araud, Managing Director of Monin India, and Ravi Gupta, CFO, at the launch of Monin’s new experience centre in Bengaluru.

Monin, the French premium syrups, liqueurs and fruit purees brand, launched its exclusive ‘Experience Studio’ in Bengaluru in June this year. It is the second one in India after New Delhi, and will serve as an innovation hub for HORECA professionals and educational institutes located in South India.

Spread across a luxurious 2,000 square feet, the studio in Indiranagar will act as a platform to conduct beverage innovation and personalised menu curation sessions for bartenders, mixologists, baristas and chefs.

It will also curate educational modules for students of bar schools and hospitality institutes, and offer visitors an opportunity to witness the world of artistic beverage and culinary creations.

In terms of the design of the space, an overlay of minimal neoclassical aesthetics enhances the mood making it warm and inviting. The Studio, designed and executed by Bengaluru-based firm Restore, is a fine amalgamation of the history and heritage of the place and the essence and exclusivity of the French brand.

Germain Araud, Managing Director, Monin India, said, “With our Bengaluru Studio, we bring the exclusive Monin experience to the connoisseurs in southern India. We also have a robust expansion plan for India, and our factory will be commissioned in 2025.”

The Rs.100-crore manufacturing facility is being set up in Telangana along with an in-house R&D centre in Hyderabad. Currently, around 70 of the 150 odd flavours produced by Monin globally are available in the country. The focus here will include developing India-centric flavours.
