Following a difficult operating climate over the last couple of years, the alcoholic beverage (alcobev) sector’s business prospects are improving, assisted by supply chain normalisation, stable input costs – and probably less unreasonable taxation.

Normal operations and a strong volume recovery are expected for the Indian alcobev industry in FY 2022-23.

It is the need of the hour for the alcobev community to meet, interact and network, to make use of this uptick and increase business by using innovation in equipment, technologies and services.

Ideally placed on 6—7 July, ‘Brews&Spirits Expo’ (previously known as Craft Drinks India), aims to add value to the alcobev ecosystem by providing an industry-defining platform for brand awareness, knowledge sharing, fostering industry partnerships and converting potential into revenue.

Brews&Spirits Expo 2022 is supported by the Confederation of Indian Alcoholic Beverage Companies (CIABC), Craft Brewers’ Association Of India (CBAI), Indian Flair Bartenders Association (IFBA), Wine & Spirits Club of India (WSCI), Karnataka Brewers & Distillers Association (KBDA), UP Distiller’s Association, Apex Wine Club India, National Restaurants’ Association of India (NRAI) and Grape Growers Federation of India.

Alcobev brands, distributors and retailers; technology and service providers; equipment and component manufacturers; raw materials suppliers; brewers, winemakers and distillers; food and beverage experts from the hotel, restaurant, and entertainment sectors; and connoisseurs of spirits and wine are expected to take part in Brews&Spirits Expo 2022.

It will be the most important and comprehensive trade fair for the alcobev industry in India, covering the whole spectrum of alcobev production.

The theme for this year’s conference is ‘Innovation for Disruption’, as decided by an advisory committee comprising of industry experts from all spectrums of alcobev sector in India. There will be a series of special addresses and panel discussions through the day.

The conference will cover most relevant topics, including global trends, sourcing raw materials, production technologies, marketing and branding, as well as the challenges faced by the alcobev sector.

Brews&Spirits magazine, published by PDA Ventures, will be the official media partner, for better outreach in the alcobev industry, and play a catalysing role for the success of the Expo.
