Brews&Spirits Expo 2025: Growing anticipation!

Brews&Spirits Expo 2025: Growing anticipation!

This year’s expo, located at the KTPO Convention Centre in Whitefield (Bengaluru), promises to be a convergence of energy, ideas and innovation that will set the tone for the industry in the coming year.

The Brews&Spirits Expo 2025 returns to Bengaluru from November 27 to 29, setting the stage for India’s most intense meeting of craft creators, beverage thinkers, technology specialists, global suppliers, category pioneers and industry drivers.

Bengaluru – with its microbrewery culture and progressive beverage ethos – becomes the natural point of ignition for the next phase of evolution in the country’s beer, wine and spirits narrative.

India’s beverage alcohol industry enters 2025–26 with an expansion curve that reflects both momentum and appetite, with an estimated growth trajectory of 8-10%. In this context, the B&S Expo plays a vital role, not merely as an exhibition but as a strategic marketplace of direction, discovery and partnerships.

The KTPO Convention Centre will host the sector’s most dynamic event this season, bringing more than 6,000 professionals into a single collaborative space where innovation, storytelling, manufacturing, creativity, culture and commerce cross over in real time.

Innovation at Scale

This edition focuses not just on product diversity but on the producers, technologies, capabilities, raw material science, flavour engineering and cross-category influence shaping the new generation of Indian beverage alcohol.

The expo floor will feature more than 100 national and global exhibitors representing microbreweries, distillers, winemakers, bottlers, brand owners, yeast and ingredient companies, equipment manufacturers, engineering specialists, blenders, cold chain providers, automation developers, packaging innovators, cask suppliers and upstream technology enablers.

Among the recognised names showcasing their solutions and capabilities are Alfa Laval, JGR Bartops, Prodeb Brewery, Falcon, Janus International, Brewnation, Brew Driver, Destilla Sharp International, Red Rhino, Uppal Brewers & Distillers, Mannheim Craft Brewery, HS Oberoi Spirits, Forsyths Ltd, AGI Greenpac, Fermentis by Lesaffre, The Catalysts Group, Lallemand Distilling, DSM-Firmenich, and many more.

For brands preparing for global performance benchmarks, export readiness and product premiumisation, this year’s expo offers perhaps the most relevant exploration platform India has seen in recent years.

Liquid Experiences

Curated by Tulleeho, the ‘Liquid Experiences Conference’ on November 27 is set to become one of the key knowledge engines of the expo, bringing together global and national industry influencers, distillers, marketers, founders, advocacy champions and educators to decode themes around liquid innovation, bartending impact and advocacy, brand homes, experiential bars, retail influence and storytelling design.

In a space where brands are increasingly differentiated by emotional value, memory and identity rather than just product attributes, this conversation becomes crucial in shaping how the Indian beverage market evolves in the next phase.

Celebrating Excellence

Recognition during this expo goes beyond commercial popularity, spotlighting the craft, storytelling, flavour confidence and sensory identity that exist inside India’s evolving bar culture. Two landmark awards will also take centre stage, establishing a fresh reference framework for quality, relevance and influence within India’s alcobev sector:

  • The Sip & Savour Hospitality Awards, presented by PDA Ventures, will be held on 28th November to honour Bengaluru’s most outstanding restaurants, microbreweries, bars and taproom cultures across categories: Best Craft Beer Selection, Best New Microbrewery, Best Taproom Ambience, Most Innovative Beer Flavour, Best Themed Bar and Best Nostalgic Bar.
  • The ‘bbb (best brands in bars) Awards 2025’, to be held on 27th November, is presented by Brews&Spirits magazine to acknowledge India’s best-selling beverage alcohol brands in the top bars in India. The event, co-located with the Expo, will spotlight the whiskies, vodka, gins, wines, beers, rums and mixers that patrons at top bars consume nationwide.

Workshops, Masterclasses

Every maker, brewer, distiller and beverage innovator recognises that the margin of difference now lies in technique, microbiology, precision, fermentation science, barrel dynamics and material intelligence.

VLB Berlin will conduct a special technical workshop on Microbiological Quality Control, an increasingly important area for premium craft producers looking to secure flavour consistency, reduce variability and elevate professional standards.

Masterclasses led by sommeliers, brewmasters, distillers and technical specialists will explore barrel expression, terroir influence, plant-to-bottle journeys and category doctrine.

Sessions include SmartCap technology for reducing maturing losses with Steve Wright (Spiritech Solutions), plant-to-pour Tequila and rum fundamentals with Robert Piggot (Lallemand Biofuels & Distilled Spirits), beer mastery with Natalya Watson (WSET) and Kombucha science with Gayatri Mehta (VLB Berlin).

The IBG Flair & Mixology Challenge, hosted with the India Bartenders Guild, will add energy to the show floor through cocktail innovation, flair performance and competitive mixology.

Concurrent Show

The beverage economy no longer remains confined to a single category – cross-pollination is the new advantage – and the concurrent WTCE platform strengthens that intersection further.

Running alongside the B&S Expo, the World Tea & Coffee Expo will bring growers, processors, exporters, buyers, retailers, product designers, flavour developers, packaging innovators and technology specialists onto the same platform.

This will create an inclusive beverage environment where cross-learning across coffee, tea and beverage alcohol is not only possible but strategically beneficial.

Industry support

The B&S Expo 2025 is supported by leading industry bodies, including All India Distillers Association (AIDA), Apex Wine Club India, Brewers Association of India, Craft Brewers Association, Indian Malt Whisky Association, Karnataka Wine Board, Sake Club India, UP Distillers Association, and Wine & Spirits Club of India.

For industry professionals preparing for the next era of Indian alcobev craft, this gathering offers the most relevant mix of policy, practice, future thinking, technical depth, consumer insight and category convergence in the Indian calendar.
