Home Restaurant & Bar, a members-only club at Ambience Mall (Vasant Kunj, Delhi), recently launched its exclusive drinks with the solar system as its theme, an industry-first approach in the food and beverage industry.
Curated by the bar team of Home, these well-researched drinks have a scientific basis behind their meticulous creation some of which, never tried in the finedining space, are healthy on account of the use of fruits and vegetables.
The newly created beverage menu at Home is inspired by the energy of solar power, along with fermentation, a preservation process that produces lactic acid. Fermentation is widely used for the production of alcoholic beverages through the process of distillation.
According to Santanu Chanda, Head Mixologist at Home and Group Beverage Manager, every living being has a different and individual relationship with the energy contained in food derived from nature. “This is what has been the guiding force to curate these drinks.”
Award-winning Santanu is the Head Mixologist and Group Beverage Manager at Home. He has qualifications in international hospitality management, is a WSET Level-2 professional, and holds an advanced certificate from Bar Smarts, US.
Mayank Tiwari, Executive Chef of the PVR Group, said, “Our bar team has come up with creations that are captivating and flavourful, created with untameable passion and with meticulous care.
