ProWine Mumbai brings together the country’s community of brands, importers, distributors, wholesalers and retailers with international brands looking to enter the Indian market and noteworthy large-scale buyers, including hotels, restaurants and bar owners.
The 2021 edition was well received and featured over 200 brands from 70 companies across 13 countries with 2,017 attendees.
Recently, the Maharashtra government permitted the sale of wine in supermarkets and walk-in stores across the state. Progressive initiatives like this will improve wine production and sales by up to 30%. This decision will build awareness of good quality domestic and imported wines. It will also provide better accessibility and increase much-needed consumption.
