Whiskey is being reimagined as more than just a drink; it is now a canvas for creativity and craftsmanship. Godawan 173 marks a milestone in India’s single malt journey, a rare collector’s edition that brings together mindful luxury, conservation and craft.
It is the world’s first artisanal liqueur cask-finished Indian single malt, matured for over 9 years across three distinct casks: ex-Bourbon American oak, European Oloroso and PX Sherry – and finally the heritage Asha liqueur casks seasoned with 42 botanicals.
The result is a mahogany-hued whiskey with layered notes of spice and nuttiness, a touch of dark chocolate, and a long, elegant finish, a true expression of India’s whiskey-making artistry.
With only 173 bottles in existence, each design draws from Jaipur’s blue pottery but no two are alike – making every bottle a true collector’s piece. Bottled in 700 ml at 46% ABV, it is available for ₹5,00,000 at Bangalore Duty-Free and premium outlets in London.
