Medusa Taps Into Delhi: A New Era for Homegrown Draught Beer

Medusa Beverages, India’s fastest growing homegrown brewery, has announced its strategic entry into the draught beer segment, specifically targeting the HORECA (Hotels, Restaurants and Cafes) sector in Delhi. This move scales the brand’s presence beyond retail, focusing on the premium one-tap experience that urban customers increasingly demand.

The launch features the brand’s mid-strength variant, Medusa Air. With 4.5% ABV, this light lager is engineered for sessionability and smooth drinkability, positioning it as an ideal choice for the capital’s vibrant social and nightlife scene.

Premium Pour with Lindr ‘Naked’ Taps

Delhi remains Medusa’s cornerstone market, contributing 5.4 lakh cases and a significant 10 percent market share in FY2025. By transitioning into draught, the brand aims to deliver “a fresher pour and improved consistency,” according to Founder and CEO Avneet Singh. To ensure premium quality, Medusa has imported specialized Lindr ‘Naked’ taps from the Czech Republic, engineered for precise temperature control and smooth pour.

Founder and CEO Avneet Singh emphasizes that the draught beer rollout is as much about strengthening B2B partnerships as it is about consumer engagement. Medusa plans to scale this offering to 50 select outlets across the national capital in the upcoming months, reinforcing its “experience-led” approach to market disruption.
