Som Distilleries, among India’s leading beverage alcohol manufacturers, has announced its entry into the regular (mid-premium) whiskey segment with the launch of Mahavat whiskey, a bold, flavour-forward expression crafted to deliver the spirit of royalty in every sip.

Mahavat is crafted with a taste profile that blends royal fruit pairings like pear, a delectable touch of smoke, and a candied sweetness that leaves behind a bold, lingering finish of woody richness and subtle cocoa. Mahavat is aged and blended with Scotch malts and select Indian grain spirits to deliver the golden liquid.

Bottled at 42.8% ABV, Mahavat is positioned to compete with some of the top leading whiskey brands. In Madhya Pradesh, it retails for ₹1,040 for 750 ml, ₹520 for 375 ml, ₹250 for 180 ml and ₹126 for 90 ml.
