The Macallan, the renowned single malt Scotch whisky, has brought to India the third release in its acclaimed ‘A Night on Earth’ series: A Night on Earth in Jerez de la Frontera. This limited-edition single malt pays tribute to the Spanish region where The Macallan’s cask journey begins.

It is in Jerez de la Frontera where the sherry seasoned oak casks, that one day will nurture and mature The Macallan are meticulously crafted, laying the foundation for the whisky that follows.

The whisky’s tasting notes of pastry, grapes and anise draw inspiration from the Spanish custom of eating 12 grapes before the start of the New Year and the traditional Jerez pastry, Pestiños, a rich, fried dough with sugar and aniseed or honey.

This exclusive release captures the essence of the season that marks the end of the year in southern Spain, a time for togetherness, reflection on what has passed, and celebration of what is to come.
