Vinexpo 2022 took place over three days in New Delhi in early December, one of the first of its kind in India in the B2B space. Jointly organised by InterAds Exhibitions, Comexposium and Vinexposium, it was co-located with Food Innovation Network (SIAL India), and jointly attracted 250 exhibitors and more than 8,000 trade visitors.
“The second Vinexpo India exhibition in 2022 illustrates the current changes occurring in the Indian market, both in terms of legislation and consumption,” said Rodolphe Lameyse, CEO of Vinexposium. “Vinexpo India is buoyed by an unconventional yet promising market where there is still a great deal more to be done,” he added.
The platform brought together industry leaders from the food and alcobev sectors under one roof, and led to better conversations, according to the organiser.
The show hosted a programme of more than 15 master classes and tastings for the public. There were also live cooking events by renowned chefs: a feast for the eyes and for the taste buds!
Vinexpo master classes were led by Masters of Wine or sommeliers, where wine pairing and tasting took place. There was a master class led by Mika Eoka and Ravi Joshi, Co-Founders of Sake Club India. Subhash Arora also led a discussion on the ‘Expanding World of Bulk Wines’.
Vinexposium is the world’s leading organiser of wine and spirits trade events, including Wine Paris & Vinexpo Paris; Vinexpo America & Drinks America; Vinexpo Asia & Vinexpo China. The next edition of Vinexpo India will be held from 07 to 09 December, 2023..
