Renowned for its outstanding quality and distinctive character The Macallan 18 YO Double Cask is a perfectly balanced single malt whisky that is matured in American and European sherry seasoned oak casks.

These sherry seasoned oak casks add delicate vanilla, citrus and butterscotch, while the European oak contributes the unmistakable subtle spice, delivering a whisky with a sweeter and warmer taste and character.

This luxurious single malt whisky is aged in specially selected hand-crafted casks seasoned with dry Oloroso sherry. Upon maturing, the two exceptional whiskies unite to create an exceptional single malt with a sweeter, warmer taste and character.

The Macallan 18 YO Double Cask can be enjoyed neat, over ice or in a serve. It comes in amber honey colour, and the nose consists of an aromatic symphony of dried fruit, ginger and toffee, layered with rich orange, hints of clove and nutmeg.

The palate offers a delightful combination of rich raisin and sultana with notes of caramel, vanilla, ginger, and ultimately balanced by wood spice and zesty citrus. The finish consists of warm oak spice with ginger turning to sweet orange.
